Centrica signs three-year battery storage space supply manage Alfen
- Battery storage and EV billing firm Alfen has been chosen by Centrica Business Solutions to offer battery power storage remedies
The three-year structure contract will see Alfen provide the power company with below 10MW battery power storage space remedies. It follows Centrica signed a separate three-year contract with Alfen in December 2020, this time for the provision of elecric car (EV) battery chargers, installing them at the homes of its British Gas designers before moving on to British Gas and also Centrica websites.
Alfen supplies both stationary and also mobile battery power storage services that it lauds as being tailor-made for various markets and also applications. It has a variety of partnerships to its name; in 2019 it penciled a manage Joju Solar, with the rolling contract seeing Alfen offer Joju with domestic EV battery chargers from its Alfen Eve range.
Yves Vercammen, country manager at Alfen Belgium, described how the partnership with Centrica Business Solutions started in Belgium, with the two business - through the structure agreement - currently taking "the next action by collectively creating the power storage space market throughout Europe".
