Canadian renewables developer Boralex has actually finished a deal with Delaware River Solar to obtain a 20MW solar project in New York State.

The Sky High solar project is located in the Town of Tully, in the County of Onondaga.

The ground-mounted project is being created on three different parcels of land and construction is anticipated to be finished by the third quarter of 2022.

"The acquisition of this fully grown growth project marks our continuous progress to accomplishing the development and also diversity alignments of our strategic plan," stated Boralex president as well as CEO Patrick Decostre.

"Sky High aligns well with our existing New York portfolio, and will help to progress New York's clean power improvement," he added.

In 2018, Sky High Solar Farm was among 26 projects to be chosen by the New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NYSERDA) as part of its 2017 Renewable Energy Standard Solicitation.
