Bahrain Gets Two Bids for 100-MW Solar Project

Bahrain’s Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has received two bids for the 100-MW Bilaj Al Jazayer solar project. The tender, launched in October 2025, will be developed under a public-private partnership on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis.
The bidders are Yellow Door Energy and Acwa Power. Their offer prices are BHD 11.398 and BHD 15.440, respectively, according to Bahrain’s Tender Board platform.
