Altus Power acquires 9.9-MW solar farm in New Jersey

- US clean power company Altus Power Inc revealed on Monday the acquisition of a 9.9-MW operating solar generation commercial as well as industrial asset in Sussex County, New Jersey, boosting its total solar capacity to over 350 MW.

Located in Lafayette Township, the plant products power to neighborhood utilities and also obtains New Jersey solar renewable energy credits (SRECs). It has been functional because 2015.
The deal straightens with the firm's method to enhance growth via both greenfield project development and the acquisition of running possessions.
Stamford, Connecticut-based Altus Power is on track to get a public listing by end-2021 via a brewing merger with CBRE Group-sponsored unique purpose acquisition firm (SPAC) CBRE Acquisition Holdings Inc (NYSE: CBAH).
