The Beijing-headquartered lending institution accepted the financing on Thursday, it says on its web site. The funding will certainly be prolonged for the Thar Surya photovoltaic or pv (PV) scheme in the state of Rajasthan, northwestern India.

Earlier this year, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) said it is thinking about extending USD 50 million in debt for the plan, which is anticipated to require an overall investment of USD 200 million.

Thar Surya is planned to be mounted in the Bikaner district of Rajasthan, northwestern India. Enel Green Power won the project in a tender held by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) in 2020. A 25-year power acquisition agreement (PPA) is because of be signed for the power off-take.
