What is Output?
In Southern Germany, a photovoltaic installation with a nominal power of 1 kilowatt-peak has an average output ranging from 930kWh to 1.1kWh per year. The value depends on such factors as solar radiation, ambient temperature, inclination, direction and types of solar cells. Because weather conditions change year by year, the average power output is calculated based on the data from the last decade.
