Open-circuit voltage (Voc)
What is Open-circuit voltage (Voc)?
Potential difference between the terminals of a device (for example a PV cell exposed to sunlight) with no external load applied, that is electrical circuit is open or broken. Under such conditions, no external current flows between the terminals, although there can be internal current. Can also be abbreviated as OCV.
