What is Energy costs?
Expenses associated with energy generation, such as gas, electricity and water costs. They are essential for businesses. Thus, in case of energy-consuming production processes, energy costs are to be considered by cost element accounting. In order to determine an efficient energy policy, it is reasonable to subdivide energy into such types as electricity, solar energy, gas, coal, and others.
